SHE Software provides a cloud-based, mobile-first platform for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management. Led by CEO Matthew Elson and founded in 1995, the Chicago-based firm serves more than 250 customers across multiple sectors. The company closed a $9M Series B in February 2020. It plans to use the funds to improve its North American market position, expand its global talent pool by 60 hires, and develop the skillset of its existing team. The Series B was intended to support growth in North America and product/team development. SHE Software focuses on delivering cloud and mobile capabilities for EHS management to customers across sectors. SHE Software develops Assure, a configurable health and safety software platform that enables businesses to achieve and demonstrate compliance while reducing administrative burden. The platform includes reporting and monitoring tools that help health and safety managers identify and address risks. Assure is used by over 850 organizations and more than half a million individual users. The company is led by CEO Matthew Elson and currently employs 60 staff at its Scotland headquarters. SHE Software plans to expand into international markets and to create over 50 new jobs by the end of 2018, including opening 15 roles in a new US office and doubling the size of its development and support teams at its Scotland HQ. The new funding is intended to support that international expansion and hiring drive.
