ShelfLife operates a procurement software and marketplace that lets food and beverage brands discover, manage, and order ingredients and packaging from vetted wholesale suppliers. The company targets the $150 billion U.S. market for ingredients and packaging materials. Suppliers can digitally display product catalogs and acquire new customers, replacing manual phone- and email-based order processes. Since launching a closed beta in late January, ShelfLife has helped craft beverage brands digitally order hundreds of products across dozens of suppliers in New England and Southern California. The company plans to use new capital to grow its team, improve its product, and continue building its supplier network. ShelfLife was founded by Lillian Cartwright and John Cline and is headquartered in New York.
