Shennon Biotechnologies has developed a proprietary single-cell functional screening platform that can profile millions of immune cells functionally at single-cell resolution within hours. The platform enables identification of rare, functionally activated T cells and discovery of TCR or antibody targets for more precise immunotherapies. In the past 1.5 years the company has demonstrated the platform by identifying rare effector T cells and establishing collaborations with multiple clinical centers to study patient samples. Founded in 2021 and based in San Francisco, ShennonBio is building a pipeline of cell therapy targets aimed initially at solid tumors and later autoimmune diseases. The company recently closed an oversubscribed $13M seed financing to expand platform capabilities and scale discovery efforts. Management intends to use the funds to grow the team, accelerate target discovery, and advance the company’s target pipeline.
