Shera Energy Private Ltd. manufactures all grades of copper, aluminium, brass and other alloyed products (flats, rods, tubes, wires) and supplies super-enameled winding wire. The company also offers electroplating, enameling, paper covering and fiberglass taping and reports consistent production of high-conductivity copper (IACS 102%) to European standards. Production capacity grew from a 100 MT p.a. start in 2003 to over 7,000 MT during 2013–14, and Shera holds ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications. Shera has established an expansion project through subsidiary Shera Metal Private Ltd. at Reengus, Rajasthan with an installed capacity of 4,635 MTPA and a capital outlay of Rs. 28 crore; the project began commercial production and targeted full capacity by April 2015. The expansion is intended to serve domestic and export markets (U.S., UK, Middle East) and Shera Metal hopes to achieve turnover of Rs. 200 crore by FY2018 while the Shera Group plans to double group turnover to Rs. 600 crore by FY2018. The company positions itself as a supplier to the electrical industry using modern manufacturing techniques and a focus on quality and precision.
