Sherpa provides global companies with an API-based video management and analytics platform for critical communications across customers, partner ecosystems, and employees. It integrates with existing business systems to enable in-context video across corporate functions while centralizing usage data and video intelligence. The data-driven platform securely manages, measures and automates streaming video touch points for customers, partners and employees. In 2017 Sherpa added native support for VR/AR/360° video with initial customer pilots in partner training, retail/dealership communication and employee town halls, and completed the acquisition of the VideoVerge platform business from Ramp Holdings to integrate live and on-demand workflows into Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. The company also debuted a live social syndication dashboard that a Fortune 100 customer used to syndicate and analyze a broadcast reaching over 300,000 live viewers across 12 distribution channels. Sherpa completed a $5.5M Series A financing in August 2017.
