Shimmer Industries is a NYC-based software and firmware platform that automates the design, development and deployment of large-scale lighting projects. Its flagship product, Stellar 3D Studio, enables lighting designers, architects and engineers to plan, prototype, and deploy complex lighting systems. Shimmer says Stellar 3D Studio reduces project lifecycles by thousands of hours. The company is led by CEO Jean Koeppel and has projects in various stages of the planning and development pipeline at leading architectural and lighting design firms worldwide. The first Shimmer-designed commercial installation is scheduled to be unveiled this fall at London’s Southbank Tower. Financially, Shimmer raised $2M in seed funding led by VoLo Earth Ventures.
