1st Floor, 288, 36th Cross Road, 7th Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka, 560011, India
Overview
Shopalyst's core product, Shortlyst, allows publishers and developers to add in‑app buy buttons on content such as images, videos, chats, news or social shares to prompt purchases without redirecting to merchants' sites. The platform indexes product information from multiple e‑commerce sites, including Myntra, Jabong, Flipkart and Amazon, to make products available for instant shopping. Shopalyst currently focuses on the fashion and beauty categories and is beginning to add electronics. Its commercial model charges merchants a commission on every transaction and pays publishers for using the storefront. The company was founded by four former Infosys executives—Girish Ramachandra, Sajeesh PJ, Mohan Kumar Krishnan and Vibin Balakrishnan—and is based in Bengaluru; Nandan Nilekani serves as an advisor. Financially, it previously raised $250,000 from Basab Pradhan and Kanwaljit Singh and has now secured a $2 million Series A.
