ShopWings operates an internet-based grocery delivery service that lets users place orders on its website and receive groceries at their front door within two hours, fulfilled by a professional personal shopper. The company currently serves Munich and Berlin. It launched in those cities a few months prior to this report. Led by Conrad Bloser, Christoph Harsch, Florian Jaeger, Dominik Unützer and Andreas Veller, ShopWings focuses on fast, local grocery delivery. The company plans to use new funding to continue expanding into additional cities and countries. Financially, ShopWings closed a €12m Series A to support that expansion.
