Shotcall
859 Spring St NW, Atlanta, Georgia, 30308, United States
Overview
Shotcall is a platform that lets fans pay to play alongside streamers by organizing tournaments, coaching sessions, Q&As, charity events and other community events. Streamers set session length, pricing and rules of engagement (for example whether fans can use mics or curse on stream), and Shotcall handles event organization. The company monetizes these events and takes at most a 25% revenue share depending on event type and streamer status. Shotcall is integrating directly with Twitch and Discord via bots to make participation more seamless. Thus far the company has about 350 active hosts and more than 4,500 fans active on the platform in the past two months. Founders Thomas Gentle, Gordon Li and Riley Auten position the product to increase engagement and create high-quality, shareable content for streamers.
