Showbox is an online editing platform built for amateur and non-professional video makers, offering a freemium, modular toolkit of show formats, editing tools, templates, automatically generated backgrounds, and licensed third-party footage. The product is currently in closed beta with a waitlist of 50,000 users and the company claims it renders footage more quickly than other online platforms.
