ShowPay, founded in 2019 and based in Guangzhou, China, is a global cryptocurrency payment system built on Bitcoin SV (BSV). It provides POS and wallet solutions to merchants and offers assistance and guidance for adopting cryptocurrency payment processing. The platform is designed to support multiple cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin SV, BTC, Libra and DCEP. ShowPay is developing a global distributed ID called "MetaID" based on BSV and plans to strengthen basic research and development for it. The company intends to establish a non-profit fund to promote MetaID adoption and to expand its team. Financially, ShowPay completed a $1.5M angel funding round to support these initiatives.
