Siamese Systems provides MobileCSI, a smartphone/tablet-based solution that enables law enforcement and public safety personnel to securely document crime and incident scenes. The software is designed to ensure documentation and evidence-gathering procedures are followed precisely, improving information integrity in investigations and inspections. Led by co-founder and CEO Alex Kottoor, the company launched in February and has closed deals with agencies including the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Brentwood (TN) Police Department, Missouri City (TX) Police Department and the Prince George County (MD) Department of Public Works & Transportation. Siamese Systems raised $600K in seed financing from industry backers. It intends to use the funding to expand sales and marketing, bring MobileCSI to new global markets, and accelerate product research and development. The company is based in Toronto, Canada.
