Overview
Founded in 2018 by ECARX and Arm China, SiEngine develops high-performance, vehicle-grade SoCs (the Longying series) that power ECARX's Antora central computing platforms. Its 7nm Longying I chip has achieved global deployment, supporting dozens of vehicle models including Geely Galaxy, Lynk & Co and FAW Hongqi, and the company has mass-production capabilities for vehicle-grade silicon. SiEngine unveiled a 5nm Longying II cabin-driving fusion SoC with integrated large language model functionality and increased AI compute performance, positioned for next-generation Antora platforms and Flyme Auto OS. The company has broadened its footprint via strategic alliances into commercial vehicles and robotaxi segments and supports L2–L4 intelligent driving use cases. SiEngine and ECARX have secured a multi-year supply agreement with a major global automaker, and ECARX remains the largest single shareholder, reflecting a deep eight-year collaboration and coordinated chip-and-software ecosystem.
