Signatur Biosciences
New York, NY, United States
Overview
Signatur Biosciences is developing OncoSignatur Breast (OSB), a decentralised prognostic test designed to run on standard qPCR machines and deliver same-day results. The test uses the company’s proprietary PCRchitectur technology to condense complex workflows into a single qPCR reaction and reduce material costs by up to 20-fold. Signatur aims to make prognostic testing affordable and locally available to hospitals and clinical labs, addressing long turnaround times and high prices of existing US‑based tests. The company plans to finalise and validate OSB, unlock and match public grants for product development, and expand into other disease indications over time. With the new funding it will establish a dedicated laboratory in Liège, Belgium and expand its scientific and operational team to support R&D and commercialization. Signatur is a 2022 spin‑out from the Stevens Group at the University of Oxford and Imperial College London and is headquartered in London.
