Founded at the end of 2020 in Shenzhen, Signet Therapeutics has built a proprietary organoid disease-modeling and AI-driven drug discovery platform aimed at solving unmet needs in diffuse gastric cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer and other metastatic solid tumors. Its lead asset, SIGX1094, is positioned as the world’s first targeted drug for diffuse gastric cancer; it holds both FDA and NMPA INDs, FDA Orphan Drug and Fast Track designations, and is currently in a Phase I study at Peking University Cancer Hospital while funds are earmarked to launch a global Phase II trial. The second pipeline, SIGX2649, is a pan-TEAD inhibitor targeting the Hippo pathway and is preparing for simultaneous China-U.S. IND filings and a Phase I initiation. Overall, the company is advancing four first-in-class programs and continues to expand its organoid platform to support internal and partnered drug discovery. The founding team hails from Harvard, MIT, Dana-Farber and other top institutions, and has published over 20 high-impact papers in Nature, Nature Medicine and Cancer Cell. To date, Signet Therapeutics has secured approximately RMB 300 million in funding and grants and holds more than 40 core patents, underlining a solid financial and intellectual-property foundation for future growth.
