Signify is building an AI-driven software platform to help manufacturers manage and automate compliance-related tasks by analyzing internal company documentation and regulatory requirements. The product aims to reduce manual review of lengthy regulations and documentation that can delay shipments or leave inventory stranded, such as differing labeling rules across markets for food manufacturers. Signify spun out of the AI2 Incubator in Seattle and is positioning the software at mid-market manufacturers that can adopt it quickly. The company is still building its technology and does not yet have paying customers. Signify raised $2.1 million in a pre-seed round to build out the platform. The founding team includes CEO Martín Ramírez, CTO Jonathan Delgado, and chief innovation officer Kristina Hloptsidis, who bring experience from WellSaid Labs, Microsoft, Angles Media, Contenido, Starbucks, Tomorrow.io, BlackSky and Spaceflight.
