SigNoz is an open-source observability platform built on OpenTelemetry that unifies metrics, logs and traces in a single application. The product uses ClickHouse as its backend to deliver efficient, cost-effective storage and fast query performance. SigNoz offers a hosted cloud service and a SaaS enterprise tier with features like log management, infrastructure monitoring, SSO, custom integrations and on-premises deployment options. The company launched its cloud offering to serve users who prefer not to self-host. Leadership says it will invest the new capital to mature the product, add more OpenTelemetry-native features and scale its cloud and enterprise offerings. SigNoz also plans to push observability earlier into developer workflows and may expand into security analysis built on its tracing and logs data.
