Silence is a Catalan company that manufactures electric motorcycles and operates as a subsidiary of Spanish alternative energy group Acciona. The firm is positioned within Acciona’s broader sustainable mobility strategy. In 2024 Silence generated €18 million in turnover, but it also posted a loss of almost €37 million, highlighting significant cash-flow needs. To address these requirements, Acciona injected fresh equity into the business. The €40 million infusion is intended to strengthen Silence’s financial structure and support its growth plans. As a result, the subsidiary’s subscribed capital has risen to €102 million, giving it a more robust balance sheet for future expansion.
