Silver Lion Innovations, founded in 2018 by Ruth Crozier and Conor Crozier, develops EasyOver, a smart mattress topper designed to transform care for people with limited mobility. The device allows users to turn independently or with one carer via a simple button, aiming to improve quality of life for patients and reduce caregiver burden. The company is based in thebeyond innovation hub in Finnieston, Glasgow and participated in STAC’s 18-month accelerator. STAC’s support helped the founders refine their pitch, connect with partners, and hire their first employee. Silver Lion plans to use the recent investment and network access to accelerate product development and take EasyOver to market faster. The funding is intended to speed validation, commercialization and scaling through industry partnerships available via the STAC ecosystem.
