Simactricals, founded in October 2020 and incubated at the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), IIT Kanpur, develops a sophisticated wireless charging system for electric vehicles. Its flagship product supports 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, warehouse bots, rovers, and drones, enabling connector-free charging and avoiding battery swaps. The company built its first prototype in 45 days, initially creating a wireless charging solution for DRDO drones to land on designated pads and recharge. Simactricals is currently running five proof-of-concepts with leading 2- and 3-wheeler manufacturers and has supplied wireless chargers for Powergrid rovers and drones. Financially, the company has raised INR 75 lakh through the SanchiConnect pre-seed cohort program and secured INR 44 lakh in government grants.
