SimBioSys builds TumorScope, a simulation-based precision medicine software platform that virtualizes individual tumors using AI and biophysical simulations to predict response to therapy. The platform models drug delivery, metabolism, and spatial heterogeneity using standard-of-care data and returns results within minutes to inform physician decision-making. Early validation, including independent studies from leading cancer centers, demonstrated over 90 percent accuracy in predicting response in early breast cancer. The company has collaborated with 20 leading cancer institutions to run clinical validation studies and tripled headcount in the first half of 2021 to hire clinicians, scientists, and executives. With published validation and partnerships underway, SimBioSys aims to expand the technology into other solid tumors and support drug development across preclinical and clinical trial settings. The company has raised a total of $21 million to date and will use the new capital to accelerate development and commercialization of TumorScope.
