Simergent is advancing Archimedes, an automated peritoneal dialysis system designed to expand access to home dialysis at an affordable price point with usability and safety features. The company plans to continue development for the US and international markets. It will use the recently raised funds to complete design, manufacturing and regulatory testing required for FDA clearance. Simergent is led by co-founder and CEO Steve Lindo. The company has offices in Oklahoma City, OK and Chicago, IL and is part of the MATTER healthtech incubator. Financially, it has just closed a seed round to support its next development and regulatory milestones.
