Simple&Co is a foodtech that creates and manages multiple digital-native brands sold via delivery and operated through partner restaurants. The company develops virtual brands (DNVBs), selects local restaurant partners to operate them, and uses existing kitchen infrastructure so partners need no new investments or hires. Simple&Co positions itself as an aggregator to bring restaurants extra income and simplified access to digital services rather than a competitor. It currently operates in the city of São Paulo and was founded by André Piva and Alan Pedroso. Simple&Co recently closed a R$3.48 million crowdfunding round, including a R$1.5 million investment from Bertha Capital. With the new capital the company plans to recruit more commercial partners across the state of São Paulo, expand into additional Brazilian metropolises, and invest in a wider range of cuisines to grow its portfolio.
