Founded in 2019, Simple Energy designs and manufactures electric two-wheelers and key vehicle components such as batteries, motors, chassis and software in-house. The company reported revenue growth from ₹40 crore in FY2025 to ₹170 crore in FY2026 and currently sells around 1,500 scooters per month. It operates more than 71 outlets across 38 cities and has a manufacturing capacity of 3,000 units per month. Simple Energy has invested in expanding its battery production line, with the increased capacity expected to be operational from August 2026. The company plans to expand its workforce across sales, production and marketing while targeting monthly sales of 10,000 scooters by March 2027. Its recent fundraise is intended primarily to scale manufacturing and production capacity, with additional allocation to sales, marketing and R&D.
