Overview
Founded in July 2025 by former Li Auto autonomous-driving executives, Simplexity Robotics is developing a full-stack embodied-intelligence platform. Its core technologies include the LaST₀ foundation model that fuses physics understanding with vision-language-action processing, the ManualVLA long-horizon task model, and the TwinRL reinforcement-learning framework that leverages digital twins for self-learning. The company follows a “Human data is all you need” paradigm, using teleoperation demos and on-device “shadow mode” training to create a closed data loop. Two generations of robot hardware—targeting both business and consumer markets—have already reached small-batch production, and early pilots focus on controlled environments such as factories and retail stores. Offices have been established in Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou, with a Global Innovation Center in Suzhou. Financially, Simplexity has amassed RMB 2 billion across five funding rounds completed within its first six months of operation, a record pace in the embodied-robotics sector. The fresh capital is earmarked for continued model training, hardware R&D, data acquisition and algorithm optimization as the company moves from proof-of-concept to commercial deployment.
