SimpliField builds a SaaS solution aimed at "rebuilding the future of retail" by optimizing field operations for brick-and-mortar stores. Its product combines a mobile app and a web dashboard to collect and analyse in-store data and align teams. The mobile app gives sales teams offline access to guidelines, operations, and reports so employees can stay on the same page across stores. The platform is designed to improve customer experience, accelerate supply-chain productivity, increase sales, and optimize field inspections. Financially, the company recently closed a $4 million seed round. Investors in the round include Runa Capital, CapHorn, and 50 Partners Capital. SimpliField provides a real-time field data collection and analytics platform accessed via a mobile app that enables merchandisers, sales reps and store managers to gather data, share field knowledge and produce reporting analytics. The platform is designed to mobilize and coordinate field teams for retailers and other firms with in-store or in-field operations. Founded in 2013 by Benjamin Zenou (CEO), Georges Plancke (CTO) and Jonathan Attal (COO), the company offers app-based tools for data gathering and analytics. It raised $450K in seed funding to accelerate development of its platform. The company said the funds will be used to speed up platform development and product advancement.
