Overview
Sinchin New Materials specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of high-purity metal powders at the nano-scale. Its flagship products include nickel powder (down to 60–80 nm) for multilayer ceramic capacitors, ultrafine soft magnetic alloy powder adopted by leading inductor makers, and photovoltaic copper powder that aims to replace silver in solar cells; the firm is also researching base-metal catalysts for hydrogen production. In 2024, Sinchin’s sub-200 nm nickel powder was named to China’s first batch of domestically designated “new materials,” underscoring its role in import substitution. Management reports sustained revenue growth over the past year, expanded customer penetration into Japan and South Korea, and broader commercialization across multiple product lines. The company plans large-scale commercialization of photovoltaic copper powder in H2 2026 and market expansion of its 60–80 nm nickel powder over the next two years. Production capacity is slated to reach 4,000 t in 2026 and 6,000 t in 2027. After completing a shareholding reform in July 2025, Sinchin is targeting a public listing in 2028 to finance further growth.
