Overview

Fuyang Xinyihua develops display and semiconductor photoresists, specialty photoresists, OLED materials and other frontier electronic materials. The company has multiple R&D and development labs, including central research, display photoresist, semiconductor photoresist and OLED material labs, and positions itself for product commercialization. Its display photoresists have been adopted for volume production by major customers such as BOE and TCL Huaxing; in 2022 photoresist revenue exceeded ¥400M and the company ranked first among mainland China photoresist firms. Semiconductor offerings include KrF products undergoing customer testing at several 12-inch fabs, and a range of special resists (low-temperature, quantum-dot, PDL, reflow adhesives) have reached technical breakthroughs and mass production. Fuyang Xinyihua says its OLED premium materials have passed validations with key customers and reached shipments. The company emphasizes building a full innovation-to-manufacturing platform and has participated in national and industry cooperative projects to drive industrialization of its technologies. Management aims to continue expanding R&D, scale production and cultivate industry talent to raise domestic localization of critical materials. 阜阳欣奕华材料科技有限公司 develops advanced electronic materials including photoresists, OLED materials, semiconductor wet electronic materials and frontier materials. Founded in May 2013 and part of 欣奕华科技集团, the company’s core R&D team comprises nearly 100 experts from the U.S., Korea, Taiwan and elsewhere, including over 20 industry specialists. It has built a leading advanced materials research institute, a new-display materials production application demonstration platform, and holds an approved enterprise technology center; the company has participated in three national Ministry of Science key R&D projects. Photoresist is a core product given its importance in display panels and semiconductor IC manufacturing and the article notes domestic display photoresist localization is only about 10%. The company says it will continue to deepen work in display materials while expanding into semiconductor integrated-circuit photoresists and other microelectronic materials to help solve upstream “bottleneck” issues. The recent financing (RMB 5 billion C round) will be used to strengthen advanced electronic-materials R&D and expand production capacity.
