奇点汽车 develops intelligent electric vehicles and is pursuing broad ecosystem partnerships across technology, infrastructure, and channels. The company announced a RMB 3.0 billion C round and, together with a prior US$600 million B round, has raised a cumulative RMB 17.0 billion. It has entered a strategic cooperation with 北汽新能源 (BAIC New Energy) to collaborate on smart-vehicle technology development, charging and swap infrastructure, dealer networks, and shared manufacturing resources. 奇点 will join the BAIC-led national new energy vehicle technology innovation center as a co-builder and co-initiator. The company also partnered with the Suzhou government to establish a RMB 10.0 billion intelligent electric-vehicle industry investment fund targeting batteries, electric control, motors, design, engineering, materials, AI, cloud computing, big data, and smart hardware. 奇点 plans to open 200 experience stores nationwide within three years, focusing on the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta regions, and will deploy a “5-1-2-4” channel model linking experience stores, delivery centers, service centers, and body shops.
