Sira Group SpA manufactures radiators for heating and operates facilities in Italy, China, Romania and the San Marino Republic. Founded by the Gruppioni family in 1959, the group employs approximately 800 people and reports a turnover of €46m. Its core product line is radiators; the company recently bought certain assets of Faral SpA, another radiator manufacturer. Sira has also begun talks to acquire a business active in aluminum die-casting to broaden its manufacturing capabilities. The €12m equity investment from Fondo Italiano di Investimento is intended to support organic growth to increase capacity and to finance acquisitions to expand product offerings and its customer base. The capital is expected to enable scale-up of production and strategic consolidation within its sector.
