Sirona Medical

703 Market Street Suite 1900, San Francisco, California, 94103, United States

Overview

Sirona Medical offers Unify, a cloud-native radiology workflow platform that consolidates diagnostic and clinical image viewing, radiology reporting, worklist, and AI-powered features (including impression generation) on a single platform. The Unify platform can be deployed as an overlay to existing on-premises systems (PACS and RIS), enabling practices that serve multiple hospitals and health systems to combine disparate workflows. The platform emphasizes data security using advanced protocols and safeguards against cyber threats, and provides real-time monitoring to address potential issues proactively. It delivers a fully redundant, always-on workflow solution with built-in fault tolerance. Unify also supports seamless integration and deployment of both first- and third-party AI algorithms. Sirona intends to use the new funding to continue evolving Unify (with a focus on workflow efficiency and AI-powered report generation), to support customer service and support, and to fuel commercial expansion. Sirona Medical builds RadOS, a cloud-native platform that unifies radiology IT applications — the worklist, viewer, reporter, and AI — onto a single system. RadOS can be deployed as an overlay to practices’ existing on-premise PACS and RIS databases, allowing radiology practices that serve multiple hospitals and health systems to combine disparate workflows and data feeds into a unified workflow experience. The company is led by founder and CEO Cameron Andrews. Sirona raised $40M in a Series B, bringing total capital raised to more than $60M. The company plans to use the funds to accelerate product development, customer onboarding, and sales initiatives. Andrew Perlman of GreatPoint Ventures will join Sirona’s board in conjunction with the financing.
