Sironix Renewables has developed Eosix®, a 100% plant-based oleo‑furan surfactant platform intended to replace petroleum-derived surfactants in detergents, cleaners, shampoos and personal care products. Eosix® delivers enhanced stain removal, demonstrates up to 500x higher stability in hard water, and is 100% free of 1,4‑dioxane. The company produces high-performance anionic surfactants by chemically combining starch-based ingredients with natural oils, yielding tunable performance properties. Sironix is scaling production at its Seattle facility and is developing the platform through industrial partnerships. Future plans include deployment of the technology into agricultural and coatings markets in addition to cleaning and personal care. Financially, the company has received grants and equity support to advance commercialization efforts.
