Led by Keenan Baldwin, SiteZeus develops a location intelligence platform driven by engineered big data systems and data visualization technology for retail and real estate brands, brokers and developers. The platform aggregates and consumes large datasets into actionable insights in real time to help clients grow existing business with a calculated approach. The company said it will use the new funds to expand growth and the SiteZeus platform. In the coming months SiteZeus plans to announce new initiatives and products, including Simply and Savvy, the Synergy Grid and the Olympus Data Exchange. SiteZeus has raised $4.15m to date. Chuck Cooper, who led Paylocity as CIO to its IPO in 2014, led the $1.5m round and has joined SiteZeus as EVP of Product Development. SiteZeus builds a real-time, web-based site selection platform that automates data sourcing, aggregation, analysis and presentation to inform location decisions for restaurant, retail and hospitality brands. The platform ingests more than three billion data points across behavioral demographics, transportation patterns, points of interest, climate, sales cannibalism, social media, SEO and real estate attributes such as parking, access and square footage to produce location intelligence. SiteZeus was co-founded in 2013 by Hannibal Baldwin, Keenan Baldwin and Azad Ratzki and is based in Tampa, Fla. The solution is currently in beta and has been deployed by more than a dozen brands. The company intends to use the new funds to expand its team and bring the platform to market in 2015. To date the company has raised $2.65M, including the latest $2.2M round.
