Sivo builds a “debt-as-a-service” API that strikes deals with debt providers for large credit lines and helps customers underwrite and disburse loans through their own products. The company emphasizes embedded risk-management tools so neobanks, gig platforms and fintechs can access debt capital on day one without building their own risk stacks. Sivo says it has more than 100 companies in its customer pipeline, with Uber reported as an upcoming live integration next month. The team includes executives with experience at Goldman Sachs, NASA, Revolut and Citigroup, and the company is a recent Y Combinator graduate. Financially, Sivo has closed a $5 million seed equity round at a $100 million post-money valuation and has announced a $100 million debt facility while pursuing another debt deal near $1 billion. Kate Hiscox said investors across mutual funds, pension funds and banks have been receptive and that the firm is deciding whether to go direct to Series A.
