Zhonggui Technology is a Hangzhou-based maker of CMP equipment that has developed 6-, 8- and 12-inch CMP systems. Its 8-inch polishing silicon process reached volume production and the company built the first domestic 8-inch copper-polish tool now undergoing known production-line qualification. The firm’s 6-inch CMP has won an order from a third‑generation semiconductor materials production line, and a 12-inch CMP prototype has already been deployed. Zhonggui emphasizes IP protection, having filed 79 patents (69 invention patents, including 24 international, 19 Taiwan and 26 domestic invention patents). The company says it聚集ed domestic and international senior talent and aims to commercialize its 12‑inch CMP product and expand market adoption. Management highlights the goal of providing reliable, high‑value domestic CMP equipment to support local wafer fabs and reduce dependence on foreign suppliers.
