Skej

35 W 31st St, New York, 10001

Overview

Skej builds an AI meeting-scheduling assistant that you add to email threads (and later text via a phone number) to find and book meeting times for all participants. The service integrates with email platforms like Gmail and Outlook and with meeting and calendar tools such as Google Calendar and Zoom, with Outlook Calendar support coming in the next few weeks. Under the hood it uses multiple LLMs plus a proprietary “Skej brain” scheduling engine to interpret email language, match availability across time zones and preferences, and craft natural replies. The product is in public beta, is free while the team collects feedback, has more than 1,000 users, and the team plans to introduce a paid tier later. The founding team includes CEO Paul Canetti, his brother Justin, CTO Anindya Mondal and co-founder Simon Baumer (credited with creating the product core); the remotely distributed team comprises the three co-founders plus two full-time engineers. The company does not plan to build a standalone app and aims to remain agnostic to users’ existing tools and workflows.
