skoog music
27 Albert Street, Edinburgh, EH7 5LH, United Kingdom
Overview
Skoogmusic’s core product is the Skoog, an interactive, multi‑sensory music toy and accompanying apps used to teach children music and coding. The company sells through global partners and retails in Apple stores as part of Apple education programmes, and supports Apple’s Swift Playgrounds. It will use the new investment to grow sales and marketing internationally after securing distribution deals with Tech Data (Europe) and Ingram Micro (US). Skoogmusic plans to continue developing its apps across coding, sampling and creative music making and to translate them into eight languages for international markets. The company intends to extend the Skoog range and launch new 'entry level' devices next year. Leadership changes accompanying growth include Ben Schogler becoming CEO, Andy Gordon as Chairman, and investor Paul Murray joining as a Non‑Executive Director.
