Skynamo provides a mobile-first field sales app and cloud-based management platform designed to digitise paper-based processes, automate administrative tasks, and give sales reps easy access to customer and product information in the field. The platform is positioned to increase productivity and transform sales reps from order-takers into value-adding consultants. Skynamo serves customers from offices in South Africa and London and has chosen Atlanta as its US headquarters. US software investor Five Elms Capital has invested $30 million in the company. Skynamo says it will use the funding to accelerate adoption of its mobile app and cloud platform and to scale operations to better serve a rapidly growing customer base in the US, UK and Southern Africa. The company emphasises delivering a superior end-user experience for mobile field users compared with traditional CRM and sales automation tools.
