Skyscraper provides a visual editor and ad-serving tools that make direct ad sales easier for small-to-medium publishers. The product lets users add advertising space visually and handles invoicing, scheduling, reporting and ad serving. The service launched out of Vancouver’s GrowLabs accelerator earlier in the year. The team raised a $500,000 seed round and says it will focus the funding on product development and hiring. Skyscraper also used AngelList Docs to sign and close the seed round, which the founders praised for simplifying legal work. The company is positioning itself to streamline direct ad sales workflows for bloggers and independent publishers.
