Sling Money is a consumer app that uses stablecoin and real-time payment technology to enable nearly instant, low-cost global transfers. The app performs transfers using Pax Dollar (USDP), a US dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Paxos, and it seamlessly converts between fiat and USDP. Transfers on Sling take only seconds, often cost a fraction of a penny, and can be sent to over 50 countries across Europe and Africa, including to non-Sling users via a Sling Link. Sling emphasizes a user-friendly interface and integration with fiat payment systems to simplify cross-border payments. The app is available for download on iOS and Google Play in supported countries and currently operates with a waitlist. Sling is an Avian Labs product founded by Mike Hudack and Simon Amor; the team has prior experience at Facebook, Spotify, Square, Cash App and Monzo.
