Slingr was created by product manager Grace F. Schroeder as a platform-first product to help disparate teams connect, set up tasks, and manage code maintenance. Its initial product, SLINGRPro, focuses on deep Slack integration and is designed to showcase the platform's flexibility. The platform supports rapid application development, UI and REST API auto-generation, and full‑stack JavaScript application creation. Since launching the SLINGRPro app on the Slack App Store in late July to beta customers, the team has added integrations like Google Calendar, Google Contacts, and the IBM Watson Tone Analyzer. Slingr reports 3,000 active daily users and has reinvested proceeds back into product development. The company plans to introduce a steady stream of out-of-the-box integrations to expand its enterprise automation and SaaS integration capabilities.
