Smack Technologies develops military AI systems, including Omega, a decision-support platform that uses reinforcement learning and real-time computer vision to accelerate targeting and repair disrupted battle plans. The company is also building Alpha, a forearm-mounted AI display intended to replace improvised field whiteboards, and is targeting 10–20 prototype units in the next six months. Smack has secured prototyping contracts from the Joint Fires Network and the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, jointly worth more than seven figures. It operates an Austin, Texas office focused on hardware development and has scaled headcount from 19 in April to 51, aiming for about 85 by year-end. Recent funding (a $61M Series B) is being used to expand Omega production, advance Alpha development and grow the team.
