Smartlane develops Smartlane Transport Intelligence, a self-learning, cloud-based dispatch automation SaaS that digitalises and optimises transport planning in part-load distribution. The software reduces planning time by up to 90%, can enable up to 21% more shipments on the road, and cuts operating costs and CO2 emissions by up to 21% through improved resource utilisation. The company implements its solution in parallel with ongoing operations to avoid business disruption and has customers among part-load distribution SMBs and members of the Cargoline network. Smartlane plans to double its team, strengthen its market leadership in AI-based transport optimisation, and continue product development toward autonomous logistics systems that can fully manage the dispatch process. Financially, Smartlane has received a Series A financing of more than €4.5 million alongside €1.7 million in EU support funds, funding product and team expansion.
