Smartree Romania is a Bucharest-based human resources outsourcing company that provides payroll calculation and personnel administration services. It serves more than 100 renowned multinational and local companies operating in Romania. The company received a €3M majority investment from Enterprise Venture Fund I (EVF), the venture capital fund managed by Enterprise Investors, with EVF taking a 56% stake. The capital infusion will enable Smartree to expand its offer and win new customers. Specifically, the funds will finance a new line of business in personnel outsourcing and support further growth of its payroll and software outsourcing services. The investment is intended to position the company for further growth within the Romanian market.
