SmartUp operates a peer-to-peer micro-learning and knowledge-sharing platform that enables communities to create, share and consume bite-sized pieces of knowledge. The platform is used by startup founders, companies, innovators, business schools and entrepreneurs around the world. Customers are creating interactive content for training, product information, onboarding, sales material, compliance, innovation and more, and some are building external customer and partner "academies." SmartUp is already used by over 100,000 startup founders and teams. The company plans to use new funding to expand operations and evolve the platform to serve the needs of large corporates and startups, enabling communities for teams to learn new skills and exchange knowledge. SmartUp was co-founded by Frank Meehan (CEO), Brent Hoberman and Henry Lane-Fox.
