SmartVault provides accounting professionals with a SaaS online document storage and secure file-sharing platform that integrates with QuickBooks, Xero and FreshBooks. The company has been expanding platform support and investing in an open API to enable an ecosystem of partners that integrate SmartVault inside their apps. SmartVault is adding features to further streamline workflow for accountants and is expanding its training and customer care teams to support its growing customer base. The product is integrated with tax applications Intuit Lacerte and Intuit ProSeries through a recent partnership with Intuit. Led by founder and CEO Eric Pulaski, the company intends to use new funding to accelerate development of its core service offering and scale operations to support that partnership.
