Snag-A-Slip operates a mobile-responsive website and apps that let boaters search for and reserve transient slips by region, marina, travel dates and vessel specifications. Launched in 2015, the company has grown its network to include more than 500 marinas from Canada to the Caribbean and has expanded service across the U.S. and internationally. It recently introduced a new website, mobile apps and a rewards program (the Dozen Dock Challenge) and charges no booking fees. The platform aims to showcase marinas digitally in a hospitality-style model, helping boaters pick marinas by amenities, location and availability. Snag-A-Slip’s sister company, Oasis Marinas, provides marina management services and currently operates six marinas in the Mid-Atlantic. The company plans to use new funding to expand sales and marketing, develop product features and broaden operations.
