Financially, Runway Growth Capital provided a senior secured term loan that refinanced existing facilities and infused incremental capital to support scaling efforts. Snagajob is an online marketplace connecting hourly job seekers and employers across industries such as restaurant, retail, hospitality and healthcare. Founded in 2000 and led by CEO Peter Harrison, the Arlington, VA-based company reports over 65 million members and nearly 200,000 employers, including nearly half of the brands on the Fortune 1000 list. The platform now serves nearly a million job applications per week, with over half coming from mobile devices. Snagajob completed a $100M funding round led by Rho Acceleration with participation from NewSpring Capital and the Invus Group. As part of the transaction, Habib Kairouz of Rho Acceleration and Marc Lederman of NewSpring Capital will join the company's board of directors. The company said it will use the proceeds to expand product offerings and fund select acquisitions, and it is actively hiring. SnagAJob operates an online community and workforce-management platform for hourly workers. Founded in 2000, the company says its community has grown to nearly 28 million hourly workers, increasing by over a million every two months. SnagAJob reports a 1,185% revenue growth rate over the past seven years and a 400% website-traffic growth rate over the past five years. The company will use the Series C proceeds to expand its product portfolio, intensify marketing efforts, and increase the size of its sales team.
