Overview
Sock is a mobile investing app that helps casual crypto investors build wealth with crypto by offering self-custodial accounts. It enables users to automatically protect investments through stop-loss and limit orders and provides token insights via Sock Score, which issues A–F risk grades. The company excludes high-risk trading by not supporting tokens that fail its criteria, such as meme coins or unrealistic APYs. Customers can transact without paying network (gas) fees, set upper or lower thresholds for token sales, and enable account recovery so they retain access even if they lose keys. Founded in 2022 by Rick Johanson, Bryan Levine and Chris Titterton, Sock is available on iOS and Android. The company recently raised $2.8M in Seed funding and intends to use the proceeds to expand operations and its business reach.
