Sofology is a Manchester-based multichannel sofa retailer selling sofas through its retail outlets and online channels. Led by CEO Jason Tyldesley, the company operates 33 retail outlets and opened four new stores in Preston, Enfield, Dundee and Cannock in the past 12 months. The company generated sales of £143m in 2015, up from £102m the previous year. It will use the new funding to accelerate expansion in the UK, including a nationwide roll-out of retail outlets and growth of its delivery fleet. Plans also include development of a new online platform, featuring a website refresh and a new app.
